“Do you ever miss that fragile sun, the way you felt when there was no turning back…? Seems everywhere you’ve been glows beneath your skin…” Jesse Terry is a poetic songwriter with a knack for questioning and offering imagery of throwing off tethers and plunging into life unfettered, embracing whatever comes next.

I toured full-time with my daughter until she was about two years old & even if she can’t remember all of the details, I can see that those experiences are now in her DNA. I love how she was shaped as a person by those early journeys. I love the chapter we’re in now, which feels a bit more traditional, but I have a feeling that there are more adventures in store for my family, which now includes a young son. This is a song that looks ahead & envisions that next leap. – Jesse Terry
