Mustangs of the West – “(Everybody Wants) Peace on Earth”
Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Mustangs of the West’s song “(Everybody Wants) Peace on Earth,” a rerelease of the song that had previously recorded, but this time it appeared on their recent album Down at the Palomino. The album was produced by Kirk Pasich, Colin Devlin, Zackary Darling, Dave Darling, Sherry Rayn Barnett, George Landress, and Mustangs of the West
“(Everybody Wants) Peace on Earth” is Suzanna Spring on lead and background vocals and acoustic guitars; Sherry Rayn Barnett on electric and acoustic guitars, dobro, and background vocals; Aubrey Richmond on fiddle, strings, mandolin, lead and background vocals; Holly Montgomery on bass, lead and background vocals; and Suzanne Morissette Cruz on drums, percussion, lead and background vocals.
The video was directed and produced with graphic design by David Provan, with videography by D’Andree Galipeau. It’s a beautiful sentiment “maybe we can make it real with love, love love,” it’s more than a holiday song, it’s a positive vision. The vocals of the Mustangs of the West are chilling and vibrate closely off one another, a joy to listen to.
In a time of conflict and war, the uplifting “(Everybody Wants) Peace on Earth” from KZZ Music/Blue Élan Records recording artists, Mustangs Of The West, reminds us that the end to conflict begins with every one of us–in our relationships with each other.
