The album was a produced by Damian Calcagne and Blake Christiana; mixed by Damian Calcagne at The Pinebox in Boonton, NJ; and mastered by Fred Kevorkian in Brooklyn, NY.
“Longshot” is Blake Christiana on lead vocals and guitar; Robert Bonhomme on drums; Rick Bugel on bass; Andy Thomas on lead guitar and vocals; Damian Calcagne on keys; Aisha Kenyetta on vocals.
This video was created by Ben Miller of Reel Deal Film.
As Blake Christiana of YARN tells us, “This is a song about all our chases in life. Anything worth having in life always begins as a long shot. This song is disguised as a song about a man chasing a girl who is completely “out of his league”. But that metaphor can be applied to just about any dream you’re chasing. You got to fight hard and persist to get anything worth a damn. It’s all a million to one.”
This song is sexy and oozing with swaggery Brooklyn energy as it expresses the confidence and the absolute imperative to try: “You’re a long shot baby but I gotta see if you’ll ever come home with me.” Excellent video juxtaposition of the band performing live with the woman of their dreams.
