Craig Greenberg “First Date Ghosted”

Americana Highways is hosting this premiere of Craig Greenberg’s song “First Date Ghosted,” from his forthcoming album which is set for release later this year. It was recorded at the Ice Plant in Long Island City, Queens by Wayne Silver. It was produced and mixed by Wayne Silver and Craig Greenberg, and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis.

“First Date Ghosted” is Craig Greenberg on piano, vocals, synthesizer and percussion; Hiroyuki Matsuura on drums; and Tony Tino on bass.

As Craig describes the song, “It’s a true story of being ghosted right before a first date a couple years back, with a bit of humorous embellishment… I employed the age-old tool of turning a sad experience into art!”

Oh the indignities of the adult dating scene, when not only can you get ghosted without warning, but also apparently it’s possible to get ghosted before the first date even took place. Where’s the courtesy? Lighthearted with grand sounding piano and honest sounding vocals and choruses, this is  bound to be widely relatable, this song is modern and classic at the same time.
