“You & Me” is Cali Navarro on vocals, and Keegan Ferrell on guitars, piano and keys. With her signature powerful throaty vocals, Cali shares a sorrowful love song that’s about letting go: “You forgot the memories of just you and me.”
As Cali says, “This song comes with many feelings and emotions. It connects with me because it’s about the pain of having to let go of something or someone important. This could be a dream I held onto, an opportunity I missed, or a special connection with someone I was really close to. Sometimes the past feels broken or forgotten, even though I want to be happy. This shows the remembrance of missing what was lost or left behind. “You and Me” is about moving forward while holding onto those memories, trying to find peace, but still feeling the weight of what’s missing.
