Scott Sean White “She’d Be the Bible”

Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Scott Sean White’s song “She’d Be The Bible” from his forthcoming album Days Are Long, which is set for release on June 12. This song, though, will be available on January 30.  Days Are Long was produced and engineered by Dave Brainard; mixed by Matt Rovey; and mastered By Chris Henderson for Hendy Amps.

Musicians on “She’d Be the Bible” are Scott Sean White on vocals and guitar; Brian Fullen on drums; Justin Ostrander on electric guitar; Dave Brainard on bass, acoustic guitar, piano, keyboards, accordion, mandolin, percussion, and background vocals; and Victoria Rudd on background vocals.

As Scott says about this song’s inspiration: “I was driving down the road a few years back, thinking about my wife of 35 years and this crazy life of ours. Songwriters aren’t the easiest folks to share your life with, and she’s hung in there with me through everything. And I thought to myself, “Man, if there was a book about how to love a guy like me… she’d be the Bible.” I immediately jotted that down on my idea list, and it sat there for at least three or four years before it finally came out in the right room and we wrote it.”

Moving back and forth between various scenes of Scott playing and singing this song provide the ideal context for this song, as it starts out quietly and builds to dazzling heights. It’s the perfect love song for a solid long time relationship.
