Giulia Millanta – “I Dance My Way”
Americana Highways presents this video premiere of Giulia Millanta’s song “I Dance My Way” from her forthcoming album Only Luna Knows, which is due to be available on April 19. This song, though, will be released on Friday March 22. The album was produced by Don Antonio and engineered by Ivano Giovedi. It was recorded at Crinale Lab studio in the hills of Tuscany, Italy. A resident of Austin by way of Florence, Italy, Giulia has both an album and a recipe book of Italian delights releasing this spring.
“I Dance My Way” is Giulia Millanta on vocals and guitar; Don Antonio on guitar and mellotron; Danilo Gallo on upright bass; and Diego Sapignoli on drums and percussion.
This video was created by Mercy Joy, aka “MJ.” Loose and bouncy upright bass sets the pace for this song of dancing like nobody’s watching. “Stubborn rhythm in the back of my mind” sometimes stays there all day and compels us to dance our own way, both literally and figuratively.
