With civil rights and current footage of struggles, Anne E. DeChant drives the point of the song home as she asks “what kind of change am I?” From a mostly white perspective of support, Anne E. DeChant throws her musical hat into the ring of protest songs.
In order to write “Change,” Frye and I had to look at ourselves and ask tough questions. We are privileged. We know it.
